Biography

Mie Takikawa is a Ph.D. candidate whose research focuses on the intersections between gender, sexuality, and nationality with the social reproduction of labor under neoliberal global capitalism. As an interdisciplinary feminist scholar who has been trained in cultural anthropology and East Asian Studies, her research explores socio-economic disparity and labor exploitation in digital creative economy.
