Giving to WGSS
Every Gift Helps!
In WGSS we put teaching at the heart of our mission. Our faculty commit to high quality instruction both in and beyond the classroom. Our talented and diverse students go on to careers in government service, community outreach and advocacy, creative arts, museums, medicine, and academics, just to name a few. Giving to the WGSS General Fund ensures that we can support our students when and how they need it most. Your gift allows us to provide scholarships for study abroad, internships, travel for conferences and research, and other opportunities that would otherwise be financially beyond their reach.
The WGSS faculty produce disciplinary scholarship that defines our field and influences policy-makers and community leaders. As we continue to be a leader nationally and regionally, we are also expanding what we do for and with our students. The Verne Wagner Visiting Scholar Fund and the Ann Schofield Faculty Development Fund support our faculty in producing cutting-edge research and nurturing professional relationships regionally, nationally, and internationally. We are bringing the world home to our students, so they can bring their talents and dedication to the world.

Verne Wagner Visiting Scholar Fund
The Verne Wagner Visiting Scholar Fund allows us to bring a leading scholar to campus for one to four weeks to engage with graduate and undergraduate students, and give a public talk or other activity open to the community.
Ann Schofield Faculty Development Fund
Gifts to the Faculty Development fund allow us to support faculty initiatives with travel and research funds.
