Jacob Whitney

Jacob is a first year PhD student at the University of Kansas. He received his Master's in history at the University of Nebraska at Kearney where he studied the use of eroticism and anti-eroticism in activism during the first decade of the ongoing AIDS crisis. He plans to continue this work while at KU; investigating the ways groups on the edge of already marginalized groups build community, particularly in places like the non-urban Midwest.
