Elizabeth Stigler, Ph.D.

In 20018 Liz successfully defended her dissertation (with honors), "Cooking Up Resistance: Exploring Czech Identity in Cook County Through Co-Culinary Oral Histories." Liz is the fourth graduate of the WGSS Ph.D. program. She is now the inaugural Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer at the Chinese American Service League (CASL) in Chicago. CASL is the largest AAPI non-profit int he Midwest and just celebrated its 40th anniversary.
