  • Overview

Human sexuality is relevant to many of the careers to which students aspire. For example, knowledge about human sexuality is relevant for careers in health care, counseling and therapy, social work, academia, K-12 education, public policy and law.

The Human Sexuality Major encourages students to examine how gender and sexuality intersect with race, culture, ethnicity, and social class. In our diverse world, both the private and public sectors increasingly need people who can understand, affirm, and work with human diversity in productive and constructive ways.
