Mary Louisa Spangler is a Ph.D. candidate whose research locates and analyzes the experiences of women and girls implicated in cases of incest in turn-of-the-century Kansas. She received her B.A. in Philosophy and Religious Studies and her B.S. in History from Truman State University in 2014.

Fall 2018: Mary Louisa will assist Dr. Takeyama with instruction for the WGSS 301 "Research Methods" and Mary Louisa will also teach a section of WGSS 396: Studies in: History of Sexual Violence in the U.S.
